A space for contemporary creativity and for thinking about culture as a living, shared process. We work interdisciplinarily—from performance and theater to film, new media, and visual arts—supporting artists and fostering intercultural dialogue. We create events, educational projects, and media activities that strengthen diversity, feminist, queer, and emancipatory perspectives.

ABOUT US
The Kreatura Foundation, established in 2024 in Łódź by Patrycja Kowańska (President) and Dominika Knapik (Vice President), is a non-profit organization working to advance culture in Poland and globally. Based in Łódź, the foundation remains apolitical and ideologically neutral, focusing its activities on supporting creativity, disseminating knowledge about art, and fostering dialogue.
Its aim is to strengthen the role of Polish creators in the national and international cultural circulation and to present various artistic forms, from theatre and dance to film, new media, music and visual arts. The Foundation's activities include the production of interdisciplinary events, the organization of workshops, lectures, conferences, symposia, as well as the development of modern forms of popularizing knowledge through podcasts, videos, publications and educational activities.
Through a wide range of activities – from artistic productions to education, from local events to international cooperation – the Kreatura Foundation pursues its mission of building a vibrant, diverse and open culture.

The Foundation, which oversees the performances of the Gruba i Głupia duo, is very active online. They regularly participate in social media, primarily on Facebook and Instagram, where they share their work, behind-the-scenes work, and current projects. This is an important part of their work—it allows contemporary art to reach where people are: in everyday circulation online.
For us, social media is not just about promotion, but also a place to discuss art, creative work, and social issues. Accessible, direct communication makes culture more relatable, more accessible, and less "institutionalized." The Foundation builds an engaged community around its activities and demonstrates that contemporary art online can be vibrant, relevant, and simply engaging.
